Nina T. Dow is founder of The Global Vine.com and a graduate of Emerson College`s School of Communication, Management, and Public Policy in Boston, Massachusetts. Nina`s eyes were opened to winemaking during a semester of study abroad at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon.

Her uncle Habib, an airline pilot, produces wine and cognac as a hobby. He spends his free time in Jezzine, Lebanon honing his craft. He and his wife, Carina, often host dinner parties where bottles of his infamous Cabernet Sauvignon make an appearance. It was being immersed in this culture of hospitality that served as inspiration for Nina to take her idea on a worldwide scale.

The Global Vine.com is a wine trading club founded in 2004 and strives to join winemakers and enthusiasts from all around the globe to create mutually beneficial relationships of promotion and winemaking education.
